- Keep your own copy somewhere that is not just your email outbox — a cloud folder or a local documents folder.
- Ask for the fully executed version. Your signed copy is only half the agreement. Once the landlord has signed too, request the countersigned PDF with both signatures on it. That is the document that matters.
