These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Docsigns website at www.docsigns.online and the Docsigns applications for iOS, Android and macOS (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
By accessing or using the Docsigns website or apps, you confirm that you can form a binding contract and that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Docsigns lets you open supported documents, add drawn, typed or uploaded signatures and dates, and export or share the signed PDF. On the website, PDF files are signed in your browser; DOC and DOCX files are converted to PDF by our conversion service first, as described in the Privacy Policy. The Service is provided free of charge on the web.
Docsigns helps you apply electronic signatures to documents. You are solely responsible for ensuring that an electronic signature is appropriate and legally valid for your particular document and jurisdiction. Docsigns does not provide legal advice, and a signature created with the Service does not by itself guarantee legal enforceability.
You represent that you have the right and authority to sign each document you process and that any signature you apply is your own or is authorised.
You agree to use Docsigns only for lawful purposes. You must not upload content that is illegal, infringing, fraudulent, or that you do not have permission to use. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the documents you sign, and for keeping your own copies of them — because we do not store your documents, we cannot recover a file for you.
You may not reverse engineer, resell or misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt or overload it, scrape it by automated means, or use it to forge signatures or impersonate others. We may suspend access that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms.
The Docsigns website is free to use and is supported by advertising, including ads served by Google AdSense. You agree not to interfere with, obscure or artificially interact with the ads shown on the site.
In the apps, an optional Pro subscription removes all ads and may unlock additional features. Pro is offered with an introductory free trial; unless cancelled before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your app store account settings.
The Service, its design, its blog articles and its other content (excluding your documents and signatures) are owned by Docsigns and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy or republish that content without our permission. You retain all rights to the documents and signatures you create or upload.
The Service relies on third parties, including our hosting provider, our document conversion service and our advertising partner. Their availability is outside our control, and their own terms and privacy policies apply to the parts of the Service they provide.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that a signed document will be accepted by any particular recipient or authority.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Docsigns shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, documents, business or profits arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
You agree to indemnify and hold Docsigns harmless from any claim or demand arising out of your use of the Service, the documents you process with it, or your breach of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time, and you may delete your data from Settings in the app or by clearing your browser's site data.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflict of law rules. Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory consumer right you have under the law of your country of residence.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
