Docsigns (“we”, “us”, or “our”) builds a mobile application that lets you upload, sign, date, and export documents directly from your device. This Privacy Policy explains what information we handle, how we use it, and the choices you have. We designed Docsigns to keep your documents and signatures private by default.
Documents you import: Files you upload (PDF, DOC, DOCX, PPT, PPTX) are processed so you can preview, sign, and export them. By default these files are stored locally on your device.
Signatures: Signatures you draw, type, or upload are saved to your on-device signature library so you can reuse them.
Basic app data: We may collect non-identifying diagnostic data such as app version, device type, crash logs, and feature usage to keep the app reliable.
We use the information solely to provide and improve the service — to render your documents, apply signatures and dates, export signed PDFs, and fix bugs. We do not sell your personal information or your documents to anyone.
Your documents and signatures are stored on your device. If you choose to import from or export to a third-party service (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, Files), that transfer is handled by that provider under their own terms and privacy policy.
We do not retain copies of your signed documents on our servers unless you explicitly enable an optional cloud backup feature.
Free accounts may see banner ads on the Home, Documents, Signatures, Settings, Create Signature, Upload, Editor and Contact Support screens, and a single full-screen (interstitial) ad shown just before a finished document is exported.
Ads are served by third-party ad networks and are never targeted using the contents, names, or images of your documents or signatures. The number of banners shown in a list adapts to how many documents or signatures you have. Upgrading to Pro removes all ads everywhere in the app.
We share information only with service providers that help us operate the app (for example, crash reporting), and only to the extent necessary. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You can delete any document or signature at any time — individually, or several at once using multi-select — from within the app. Using “Delete my data” in Settings permanently removes all of your locally stored documents and signatures. You can also change the app language and appearance (light or dark theme) at any time in Settings. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete personal data.
Docsigns is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
